What we store

You can play without an account. Your puzzle progress, finished puzzles, streak, badges and settings are then saved only in your own browser (local storage) on your device. Clearing your browser data removes them.

Signing in with Google (optional)

If you choose "Sign in with Google", Google tells us an account number for you and your name. We store:

that account number, so we know it's you next time;
a link to your Google profile picture, shown only to you in the corner of the page;
your first name and the first letter of your last name (for example "Anna K."), which other players may see on the puzzle leaderboards;
your puzzle progress (level, streak, badges, finished puzzles and best times), so it works on all your devices, and your finishing times for the puzzle leaderboards;
a sign-in cookie that keeps you signed in on this device.

We do not receive or store your email address, password or Google contacts. You can sign out at any time on the My progress page. You can also delete your account at the bottom of this page: that removes everything above from our server, including your leaderboard times, straight away.

Your own photos

When you make a puzzle from your own photo, the photo is processed in your browser and saved only on your device. It is not uploaded to our servers.

Advertising

We show ads from Google AdSense to keep the site free. Google and its partners use cookies to show ads based on your visits to this and other websites. You can turn off personalized ads at Google Ad Settings, and learn more at How Google uses information from sites that use its services. Visitors in the European Economic Area, the UK and Switzerland are asked for consent before personalized ads are shown.

Hosting

The site is hosted by Cloudflare, which processes basic technical data (such as IP address and browser type) to deliver pages and protect the site from abuse.

Children

The site is suitable for all ages. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children.
